GUY CANDY OF THE MONTH – BRADLEY COOPER:

We got to enjoy him in Wedding Crashers, hate him in He’s just not that into you and then love him in The hangover.

My reasoning for this choice is simple. He has the comic timing of an ugly person and the face and body of, well, not an ugly person.

In fact, if I wasn’t so grateful for this species, I would be screaming that it is totally unfair for one person to have so many charming attributes. But I am grateful, so I won’t.

Up next for Cooper is New York I love you, All about Steve  and as ‘Face’ in The A-Team.  I for one can’t wait to see that face again in anything!

SA STYLE AWARDS IS ONLY A DAY AWAY

This Saturday night there is only one place to be, and that is at the 13th annual SA Style Awards. Last year was a fabulous night of champagne, chic dresses and dapper looking men everywhere. And this year is set to be even better.

We can expect a performance from Loyiso and Jen Su, as well as a host of hot young people dressed up and ready to get down.

Dress? check, Shimansky jewels? Check. Louboutin shoes? check. Red hot Imazine watch? check.

Hot date? Well, you'll just have to wait and see...

Christmas Trees and Christian Louboutins in Hyde Park

A few days off at the game farm before I resume filming again was more than enough to make me forget not only the day of the week but also the time of the year.

In 100 degree heat you can agree it's easy to let slip  that it's once again time to deck the halls in the hopes that Santa's email was down and he never heard how bad you'd been before he placed the order for your trinkets. When I returned to civilisation and an unfortunate overworked email of my own, I was reminded that it is almost time for the annual christmas tree lighting. An honor that was bestowed upon myself in the past along with Catriona Andrew and Grethe Fox.

This is always a night of red dresses, simles and festive fun, as we can clearly see from Liezl at last year's event. Incidentally, Liezl and I just shot a cover together all dressed in red - but that's another blog.

Looking forward to champagne and christmas cheer on the 28th of November!! Watch out for pics....

'Ye Old' DVD Review - Without a Paddle

This is a movie that I was really loathe to watch in the first place, but liking the cast and being placed under duress, I gave it a try. Man am I glad I did! This is brainless entertainment at it's best and there's nothing wrong with that - sometimes I just want to switch off and have a laugh.

Without a Paddle is the story of friends who reunite for the funeral of their childhood buddy. When looking through his belongings, they discover a trunk which contained details that reveal he was hot on the trail of the $200,000 that went missing with airplane hijacker D.B. Cooper in 1971. They decide to continue his journey, but do not understand the dangers they will soon encounter.

Interestingly, The character of "D.B. Cooper" is based on an actual person, who in 1971, after hijacking an airliner, extorted $200,000 from its owner, Northwest Orient, and leaped off the airborne plane with 21 pounds of $20 bills strapped to his body. He was never caught...

With memorable quotes like:

Dan Mott: Billy's dead and he still has a better chance of getting laid than I do.

Tom Marshall: This never leaves the cave.
